Onboard Support

Employee onboarding is the process of integrating a new hire into a company. It involves orientation, training, and mentoring to help new employees understand their role, responsibilities, company culture, and tools needed to succeed in their position.

Effective onboarding helps new employees get up to speed quickly, improves job satisfaction, reduces employee turnover, and ensures that employees are fully integrated into the company’s culture and workflow.

The duration of onboarding varies by company and role. Some companies have onboarding programs that last one or two days, while others might have extended programs that span several months. Typically, it can take from a few weeks to 90 days, but onboarding can extend throughout an employee’s first year.

The onboarding process involves several steps, including document submission, orientation sessions, training, and integration into your team.

Preboarding happens before a new employee’s first day. It includes activities like sending welcome emails, introducing the team via email, and providing essential documents or information (e.g., company policies). It aims to create excitement and prepare the employee for a smoother start. Onboarding officially begins when the employee starts working.
